Who is Litefoot?

Litefoot born as Gary Paul Davis on March 1st, 1969 in Upland, California, is the first recognized Native American Hip Hop Artist. Litefoot has been an independent artist for 16 years to date, releasing 10 albums through his own record label Red Vinyl Records . He has won six Native American Music Awards including Artist of the Year, with much success Litefoot began his own radio show in 2005 “Reach the Rez Radio “; he has also launched a clothing line which can be bought through his online store “Native Style “.

Litefoot has also pursued his acting career where he featured in “Indian in the Cupboard”, “Mortal Kombat Annihilation”; he has also appeared on television shows such as “CSI Miami”.

Preparing to Cross-Over

Litefoot has made history within Native Country, he reaches his Native brothers and sisters through touring across the states. According to Litefoot’s official biography

“He is a constant touring performer and his recent,”Reach The Rez Tour,” travelled over 54,000 miles throughout the U.S. empowering Native American communities nationwide. In addition, Litefoot has performed in such diverse venues as the Palacio De Exposicion in Rome, Italy to New York’s Nassau Coliseum in front of a capacity crowd of over 20,000. The “Reach The Rez Tour” will begin again in the Fall of 2007 and continue through the Summer of 2008″

Litefoot is not considered a Hip Hop/Rapper Artist to his fans and love one’s, he is considered a “movement”. He brings inspiration and hope to many young Native’s who struggle on a daily basis just to survive.

Brand New Album Being Released Online

This year is a big year for Litefoot, he has called upon his street team “Foot Soldierz ” to help him promote his 11th album! This a moment for Litefoot to take on the Hip Hop/Rapping community head on, and compete not only with his Native peers but with top Hip Hop/Rapping artists.

Litefoot has released his first single off of his album “Relentless Pursuit ” onto Myspace.com where you can get to listen and download the song “Act Like Ya Know ” featuring top Hip Hop artist Akon.
